With the aim of preventing violence against women and increasing awareness, a one-day workshop on domestic violence was organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Sanganer on Saturday under the joint aegis of Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti and Direct Action for Women Now.
A workshop was organized by the Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti to raise awareness among school students about the health hazards of tobacco consumption.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti organized a special event to honor the struggles and achievements of women. During this event, the committee awarded Struggling Women Honors to 10 resilient women for their courage,
Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti organized a workshop aimed at promoting legal literacy among the youth. In this workshop, young individuals were educated about the Constitution, laws, and their rights, empowering them to become aware and active participants in addressing social issues.
Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti organized a Night Chaupal in rural areas to listen to women’s issues related to violence and provide solutions. The aim of this chaupal was to offer a safe platform for rural women to openly share their problems and receive legal support and assistance.
Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti & Direct Action for Women Now organised a one-day workshop on the schemes of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department at Devnarayan Government Girls Residential School.
A one day workshop on child marriage, Naata Pratha, Aata-Sata, Kukdi Pratha and dowry system was organized in Akodiya village under the joint aegis of Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti and Direct Action for Women Now .
On 17 August 2024, a Coffee with Constitution program was organized by Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti at Beti Gaurav Udyan. The President of the organization, Tara Ahluwalia, said that the participants present in the program presented songs, poems, stories, posters etc.
Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti ,as part of an important initiative, held a discussion on the subject of de-addiction with factory workers.The purpose of this discussion was to understand the growing problem of drug addiction among workers and to provide them with the necessary information to free them from it.
