Savitribai Phule Jayanti celebrated

January 3, 2023: Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti observed the birth anniversary of social reformer and educationist Savitribai Phule at the Beti Gaurav Udyan in Bhilwara.Speaking on the occasion, BMCS President Tara Ahluwalia said that though married at the very early age of nine years, Savitri Devi continued her studies and rose to be the first female teacher in India. “Savitri Mai will continue to be an inspiration for all Indian women,” she added.

Among others present were Parmesh Dev of BMCS who addressed the youth present and volunteers Anshul Tamboli, Gayatri Joshi, Durgesh Sharma, Gaurav Khateek, and Nishan Soni.
