To honour the rights and contribution of workers, Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti organised an awareness programme on Labour Day at Nitin Spinners Bhilwara. Issues related to workers’ rights, safety, and welfare were discussed in the programme.
The programme was chaired by the head of the organisation, Mrs. Tara Ahluwalia, who highlighted the hard work of the workers and their social importance. He said, “Laborers are the backbone of our society, they have an important contribution in nation building and development, Bhilwara is recognized as a textile city all over the world, only because of you workers.
On this occasion, the active workers of the organization – Parmesh Mali, Shyam Lal, Bhawana Joshi and Vishal played an important role in making the event successful and by interacting with the workers present in the program, they were informed about the welfare schemes of the government and the rights of social security. PLV Farooq Pathan of Legal Services Authority, while giving the speech, gave the message of nation upliftment to the workers by staying organized. He said that factory workers need to be empowered not only economically but also socially. Prem Narayan Joshi, Rakesh Sharma associated with the management of Nitin Spinners Bhilwara, took active part in the program and appreciated the efforts of the committee. He said that such programs increase the awareness and morale of the workers. The workers present thanked the organization for organizing the event.
