Process of making birth certificate: –
A form of Rs. 10 is available from the Nagar Nigam, along with which the certificate issued by the hospital and Jan Aadhar, Aadhar (of both parents) have to be submitted and, after this the birth certificate is made.
Problem: –Gulshan Banu’s husband stays out of town for employment and he rarely comes home. Gulshan Banu herself is not educated and does not know the process of making birth certificate and never goes out of her house, so she was not able to get birth certificates made for her daughters. Also, one of their daughters, Aaliya Khan Pathan, was born at home and there is a long process of making her birth certificate.
Contribution of the organization :- The organization had earlier also helped Gulshan Banu’s mother-in-law Rahisa Banu in getting the money deposited in the bank of her deceased husband. When the problem of making birth certificate came up during the survey, the organization gave them a free birth certificate form and they filled it.Along with this, the aim of the organization is not only to get their work done but also to make them aware of the process and make them self-reliant so that in future they can do their work themselves and do not have to depend on anyone. Therefore, Gulshan ji was asked to get the signatures of the Anganwadi worker and two of her neighbors on the birth certificate form, complete the form by attaching the neighbors’ photos and Aadhaar cards, get photocopies of the documents attached with the form.
After completing the form, she was called to the court (she had gone out for the first time after marriage to get some work done, she saw the court and the collectorate for the first time) and was asked to get it notarized. After that, when they went to the collectorate, Gulshan ji was asked to submit the form and talk there too. After this, she was asked to take the form on 8/10/2024.
On 8/10/2024, Gulshan goes to the collectorate alone and collects the form. The next day, she goes alone to the Nagar Parishad to submit the form. If there is any problem with the form, she calls the representative of the organization. The representative of the organization goes to the Nagar Parishad and explains to her what the problem is. Again, this time also she has to go to the collectorate with her problem. The organization members also accompany her but she is sent inside alone to talk so that they can explain the whole process to her. After this, when her problem is solved, she goes to the Nagar Parishad and submits the form. She successfully submits her form and the Nagar Nigam gives her a date to receive the birth certificate. She herself goes to collect the date on 05/11/2024 which she will receive the birth certificate.
Achievements :- With the help of the organization, the woman who had never stepped out of the house, now steps out for work and once shown the way, she gets the rest of the work done herself. This is the basic objective of the organization.
Along with this, birth certificates of both her daughters have been made, which is necessary for school admission.
