National Girl Child Day was celebrated by Bal va Mahila  Chetna Samiti, Bhilwara with the students of St. Paul Secondary School on 24 /01/2023. On this occasion, the president of the organization, Tara Ahluwalia, while addressing the girl students, said that only these conscious girls will play an important role in breaking the patriarchal thinking prevalent in the society and establishing an egalitarian society. 

Women education is the only option to bring the women who have been marginalized for years into the mainstream which will take two families forward and the social change we see today is the result of education. Along with this, Tara Ahluwalia said that tobacco There was also a detailed discussion with the children about increasing taxes on goods. Women have to bear the brunt of diseases and deaths caused by tobacco consumption of men in the family, hence increasing the tax on tobacco products will reduce their consumption.

At the end of the program, all the girl students took an oath not to tolerate violence and to say no to the violence that happened to them.

On this occasion, school principal Sheeba John, director Sunil John and organization workers Bhavana Joshi and Parmesh Dev were present.
