On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, a poster based on the message “Tobacco Free India” was released by the District Superintendent of Police, Bhilwara to spread awareness about the ill effects of tobacco consumption by Bal VA Mahila Chetna Samiti.

During the release, SP Dharmendra Singh praised the public awareness campaigns being run by the organization and said that the society will have to work together to save the youth from addiction like tobacco.

On this occasion, the organization president Mrs. Tara Ahluwalia urged to ensure compliance of the COTPA Act 2003 at the ground level and said that the organization is continuously making the villagers aware of the harmful effects of tobacco on health through campaigns in rural areas.
