A meeting was organized by baal va Mahila Chetna Samiti in Gandhinagar with women regarding voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. President of the organization Tara Ahluwalia inspired all the women with their families to exercise their franchise on 26th April and said in her address that – This is a great festival of democracy, to make this festival successful everyone should exercise their franchise.

Needed This is the beauty of democracy that everyone has the freedom of choice. Shyam Lal, an activist of the organization, introduced the women present to the history and struggle of getting the right to vote. At the end of the program, organization president Tara Ahluwalia administered the oath to everyone to exercise their franchise. On this occasion, organization worker Parmesh Dev and volunteer Vishal were present.
