A workshop on constitutional values was organized in Government Higher Secondary School, Atun under the joint aegis of Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti and Direct Action for Women Now.

Organization President Tara Ahluwalia said that if students are informed about constitutional values during schooling itself, they can become responsible and better citizens.

As a resource  person in the workshop, Nagesh Jadhav of Mumbai gave detailed information to the students on the definition, need and importance of the constitution through games and various genres and activities. He said that the constitution not only gives rights, but also makes one aware of duties.

The school’s Principal Chandra Prakash Marun while giving the speech appreciated the efforts of the institutions and thanked them.

At the end of the programme, everyone was administered the oath of the Preamble of the Constitution.
