A workshop on legal literacy among youth was organized by Bal va Mahila Chetna  Samiti  at Dev Resort Bhilwara. President of the organization, Tara Ahluwalia said that 45 students from various schools and colleges of Bhilwara and 5 young lawyers of the District Sessions Court participated in this workshop. Advocate Rajkumar Sharma told the youth in detail about the functioning of the police station, constitutional rights and duties and Domestic Violence Act and POCSO Act.

When the inspiring Bhavna Joshi and Junaid Abedin discussed the harmful effects of increasing tobacco consumption among the youth on their health, the youth said that the smoking zones at various places should be closed. The age for purchasing tobacco products should be increased from 18 to 21. Direct and indirect promotion of tobacco should be stopped and sale of single cigarettes should also be stopped. At the end of the program, the youth pledged to themselves that they will inspire their families, classmates and colleagues not to consume tobacco.

Organization workers Parmesh and Ratan Singh were present during the program.
