Organization President Tara Ahluwalia said that migrant laborers work in the brick kilns located in Mandal, they come from Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh to work here. They are uneducated, less educated. Due to lack of awareness, women and adolescent girls face many health related risks, keeping this in mind the organization organized a one-day workshop on personal hygiene with these women and adolescent girls. In this workshop, resource person Shashi Prabha, who came from Udaipur, helped women and adolescent girls to remove the misconceptions related to menstruation by discussing in detail about the menstrual cycle, physical and mental changes occurring during adolescence, precautions to be taken during pregnancy and so on.
