Bal va Mahila Chetna Samiti & Direct Action for Women Now organised a one-day workshop on the schemes of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department at Devnarayan Government Girls Residential School.
The President of the organisation, Tara Ahluwalia, said that in the workshop, detailed information was provided about the schemes of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan such as Palanhar, Ambedkar DBT Voucher, Devnarayan Chhatra Yojana, Chief Minister Old Age Samman Pension, Kanya Vivah, Scholarship, Skill Training, Single Women Pension Scheme, Girl Education Scheme. The main objective of this workshop was to make the girls present aware about the schemes being run by the state government and to explain the ways to avail their benefits. Chhitarji of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department provided important information about the benefits of the schemes and the eligibility and documents required to avail the benefits. On this occasion, Tara Ahluwalia said that any girl student or the guardian of the girl student should not stop the education of the girl student due to financial constraints, the government has made proper arrangements for girl education from primary to higher education.
Organization workers Shyam Lal, Garima Pancholi, Bhavana Joshi, Parmesh Dev and volunteer Vishal played an active role in the workshop.
