A Constitution workshop was organized by Bal and Mahila Chetna Samiti in Government Higher Secondary School, Aatun on the 75th anniversary of Constitution Day. On this occasion, a detailed discussion was held on the importance of the Constitution and its basic spirit and the basic principles of the Constitution-equality, freedom, fraternity and secularism.
In her inspirational address, the organization president Tara Ahluwalia said, “The Constitution is our guide, which inspires us towards equality, freedom, and justice. The youth should understand their duties along with their rights.” She also told that the Constitution is not just a book, but the soul of democracy, which provides equal rights to every citizen.
The main attraction of the program was the Constitution Quiz Competition, in which the students participated enthusiastically. The winners were honored with prizes.
