On the occasion of Human Rights Day, a workshop was organized on the issue of Sexual Harassment at Workplace in the Law Department of Sangam University. Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti, Bhilwara and Direct Action for Women Now were the main contributors of this program. In the workshop, the president of the organization, Tara Ahluwalia, initially discussed the importance of Human Rights Day and highlighted the historical background of this day. She emphasized the responsibility of society in the protection and promotion of human rights.

Thereafter, the keynote speaker of the workshop, Mamta Jaitley, discussed in detail the issue of sexual harassment of women at workplace. She informed about the legal provisions to prevent sexual harassment against women at workplaces and emphasized the need to take effective steps to resolve it. Social worker Manju Sharma discussed the rights and laws related to women. The objective of the workshop was to create awareness about the legal provisions to prevent sexual harassment against women at workplaces.
