one-day workshop on various schemes of ICDS department was organized at Tikkiwal School Malikheda on Monday under the joint aegis of Bal Va Mahila Chetna Samiti and Direct Action for Women Now. Committee President Tara Ahluwalia said that 52 Anganwadi workers from three sectors and Bhilwara CDPO Kalpana and Supervisor Snehlata participated in the workshop.

In the workshop, Anganwadi Supervisor Snehlata explained in detail about the work being done by the ICDS department to improve the nutritional and health status of children, to prepare the basis for proper psychological, physical and social development of children, to reduce child mortality rate, malnutrition and infant mortality rate.

Organization President Tara Ahluwalia gave detailed information to Anganwadi workers about the health related problems and precautions of children and women.

CDPO Kalpana, while praising this effort of the organization, said in her speech that all the workers can do even better work in their area by implementing the things taught in the workshop.
